Rosario Cudney brings many life experiences to her paintings. The surrealistically-fashioned memories that pour out on canvas and paper talk of her acute observation of life's darker moments. She challenges her viewers to spend time interpreting the juxtaposition of eyes, hands and masks all wrapped in a celebration of her beloved South American Culture. The hours spent watching her internationally-renowned father paint, taught her much and provided the groundwork for the eventual emergence of her own expressionist style, so full of energy and life. There is a great consistency in this body of work that speaks of an intuitive sense of good design. What a joy and pleasure to see all of this inspiring artwork brought together in one collection.
